Easy to get to, absolutely perfect location not far from sea, Plakias, 5km away and such an organised center. Massive breakfast with plenty of choice.

Fairly clean and newly renovated place, varied and massive breakfast with plenty of options. Very traditional rooms. Comfortable beds, nice pool. Exceptionally nice and perfect location to Tunnel. Found in a very very nice area next to the private cove, such an organised center, and the restaurant during breakfast.

The beds were big, I slept well. The breakfast for all tastes was served in the restaurant.

Had a very very good stay during holidays, everything was perfectly fine. The room was well-equipped and very traditional and the view over the sea was absolutely breathtaking. Got comfortable bed and free Wi-Fi. The staff was very helpful and hospitable in all services. The location was perfect - very close to a rocky hill and mountains. I truly enjoyed staying here.

the property was fairly clean and staff was welcoming and pleasant. everything was perfect, even so a few employees were really slow. the room itself was big size with wonderful views and huge balcony plus seaview provided.

Kalypso Cretan Village Resort And Spa in Plakias was a fantastic experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food at the restaurant was excellent. The rooms had a fantastic view and the three swimming pools were in good working condition. The location was ideal, with breathtaking views and easy access to a free tennis court. it exceeded my expectations and provided great value for money.

Position, location, facilities

Staff were not welcoming. We felt out of place and believe we were the only Brits there! On arrival, initially we had a few problems with the room and facilities and these were not dealt with properly. I would not recommend this hotel for a lone couple. A group may be welcome though?

The hotel was right by Karavos and Damnoni Beach. The location was unique for us.

It was fairly clean, and the people were lovely and nice. The food was gorgeous, with a wide range of options. The room was exceptionally good and packed all that was necessary. The location was stunning and unique - ease of access to Karavos.

The staff are welcoming and pretty friendly. The location is amazing, 3 km from Damnoni beach. It is in a really beautiful area.

The hotel's location was remote, in the nature around the resort. Well-equipped room with wonderful views, huge balcony, as for instance, I had everything needed.

Our accommodation was set in a secluded location short walk to the cliff with a sheltered bay inlet perfect for snorkeling, public areas and the rocky south coast. And we were 200 metres from Calypso.

The view from the rooms was amazing, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious food. The staff was always attentive and eager to help.

The WiFi barely worked in the rooms, and the facilities were in dire need of renovation. the location was not ideal, as it was far from any restaurants or attractions.

The view is spectacular. Breakfast buffet offers a wide variety, one of the best we've had.

This hotel may have once been 4 stars but no longer. The older gentleman at the reception is a disrespectful, arrogant individual who should be fired. However, the rest of the reception staff was quite helpful. We received the room and it was clearly unclean (used towels, unemptied bathroom trash can containing filthy toilet paper, unchanged bed linens, bed side table with sticky residue if you know what I mean i.e. bring your own UV lamp). One morning, we were in the room when the cleaning ladies appeared. They basically only swept the floor. We had to ask the front desk for clean towels. The old reception guy asked the other desk clerk to deal with us because he couldn't care less. Many other negatives but no more space to write!

We enjoyed staying in this hotel, it was perfect. Many things to mention - everything was fairly clean, great food, breathtaking views. The staff were outstandingly accommodating and pleasant, made our stay absolutely amazing. It was in a beautiful and particularly good location a super close walk to Karavos. The breakfast was varied, no complaint.

Didn't like the staff, some of them were really slow.
